The flowers are in bloom at Parkland Peonies! Buy The flowers are in bloom at Parkland Peonies! Buy a ticket to celebrate their 10th anniversary and you'll enjoy a pleasant walk among rows and rows of unique and delicious peonies.

Be sure and bury your nose in a fragrant flower or two. Some of them smell like the sea, some like roses, and some, naturally, are unmistakably a peony.

They're only open until June 28th near Okotoks, after which they close for the season. Cut flower buds are available for purchase so you can enjoy them at home as they open. #concertofcolours2026 #concertofcolours2025 @parklandpeonies #peonies

Newly reopened in 2024 after a major expansion, th Newly reopened in 2024 after a major expansion, the Museum of Anthropology at UBC is a must see for museum lovers. Not only is it a showcase of BC's Northwest Coast First Nations art and culture, it has an almost overwhelming collection of artifacts from Japan and southeast Asia.

In addition, there are large exhibition spaces for current shows. I Use My Haida Eyes, The History Robes of Jut-Ke-Nay-Hazel Wilson is a beautiful and touching retelling of Haida myths and culture and her life through applique, fabric and painting.

The rows of drawers that I remembered from my previous visits are still there, filled with treasures from around the world in addition to case after case of fascinating displays. Expect to spend hours, if not days, marveling at the MOA. #museum #firstnations #vancouver
