We're back home and reminiscing about the superb m We're back home and reminiscing about the superb meals we enjoyed aboard Emerald Luna. It was always a pleasure to wake up to an omelette, or flaky croissant and fresh fruit. Three course lunches were planned to accommodate time spent off the ship on tours. Wine flowed freely with dinners themed to the countries we visited. There was always a vegetarian choice and dietary restrictions were accommodated. Dining onboard was one of the perks we enjoyed the most
A few, but not all, of the "burgs" we've seen on o A few, but not all, of the "burgs" we've seen on our Emerald cruise: Miltenburg, Rothenburg, Bamburg, Nureremburg, and Regensburg. It's fascinating to see the changes in the architecture from half-timbered houses to gothic cathedrals and Renaissance palaces. We were so lucky with the weather, although the Christmas market cruises must be amazing too

There was no way for me to get a good picture of the 3 by 7 foot bathroom that includes an on demand hot, hot shower, niches for every little thing and big, fluffy towels that often arrive in animal shape. So cute after a long day spent exploring

Maximum passengers, just under 200 with most choosing a Panorama Balcony Suite like ours. And yes, we brought carryon only. No chance of spending time shopping instead of sightseeing.
