Making Memories in New Orleans

New Orleans has always had a special place in my heart ever since we first ventured down to Louisiana for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival ten years ago. In the next few years I made several solo visits to explore different parts of the state.

I rode a Mardi Gras float in Lafayette, went boating on Lake Charles at sunset and stayed at the amazing L’Auberge Casino Resort, and took a step back in time in Baton Rouge at the LSU Rural Life Museum & Windrush Gardens. So I was thrilled to visit New Orleans again this spring, this time with Wallace, and happy to discover that the city is just the same as it was before, friendly, welcoming, full of music and great new restaurants.
